The UAE participates in OPEC 8th seminar which discusses the future of energy along with sustainability achievement “Energy Security”.
With the participation of the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, OPEC 8th begins at the Imperial Hofburg Palace in Vienna-Austria.
Mentioning that The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) is hosting the 8th OPEC International Seminar on 5-6 July 2023 under the theme:
‘Towards a Sustainable and Inclusive Energy Transition’
Besides the UAE, the following countries are participants in OPEC 8th Seminar:

His Excellency HE Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo, Secretary General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) stated the below:
“The OPEC International Seminar has a rich record with regards to the quality of participants.
Along with the high level of discussions that revolve around the main issues affecting the energy sector.
Especially in light of the current circumstances witnessed by the world.”
Also He added: “the conference in its eighth edition witnesses broad international participation from ministers of the member countries of the organization.
Its allies from outside the organization, energy sector stakeholders, companies, banks, and investment companies.
The current cycle of the conference witnesses discussions on the sustainable and comprehensive transition in the energy sector”
