The UAE Advanced Position
According to Edelman Trust Barometer 2025, the UAE has maintained its advanced position on the list of the most trusted countries worldwide.
The 25th edition of the index surveyed 33,000 participants across 28 countries.
It showed that the UAE has maintained its leadership as a beacon of stability.
Enjoying high levels of trust in both the government and corporate sectors.
Participants in the survey viewed the country’s leadership and institutions as trustworthy.

Trust At Highest Levels
The latest surveys from the Edelman Trust Barometer in the UAE revealed that trust in the government is at its highest levels.
With 82% of participants expressing trust, compared to a global average of 52% trust in governments.
The report also showed significant trust in companies.
With businesses being the only institutional entity trusted globally at 62%.
In the UAE, 76% of participants expressed confidence in companies’ ability to do what is right.

Trust with Optimism
The report revealed consistently high trust in professionals and influencers in society.
With teachers (85%) and fellow citizens (79%) enjoying significant trust in the UAE.
Indicating that trust is influenced by personal relationships and local communities.
The report confirmed that trust is linked to optimism.
As 60% of UAE participants believe that the next generation will be better off, compared to a global average of 36%.
According to 67% of participants, the UAE is one of only ten countries that expressed trust in the United Nations.
It is also one of only eight countries that trust the European Union (66%).
