The 14th Group Of Wounded Palestinian Children and Cancer Patients Arrived in the UAE
Today, the fourteenth group of wounded Palestinian children and cancer patients arrived in the UAE to receive medical care.
As per the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to treat 1,000 wounded Palestinian children and 1,000 cancer patients from Gaza.
The aircraft, coming from Al-Arish Airport – Egypt, landed at Zayed International Airport, with 32 people in need of medical care, as well as 64 family members.
The patients expressed their great gratitude to the United Arab Emirates for its great humanitarian support to the Palestinian people.
Which constitutes a unique model of solidarity and solidarity among our sister countries.
They noted that the United Arab Emirates had been at the forefront of the countries that had launched humanitarian initiatives to support the Palestinian people.
The Highest Standards of Health Care
Upon the arrival of the aircraft, medical teams carried out transferring the patients requiring immediate medical care to hospitals.
While the rest of the cases were transferred to the Emirates Humanitarian City.
State hospitals provide the highest standards of health care for the injured until their recovery.
Since the start of the crisis, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been providing urgent humanitarian and relief assistance to Gaza Strip.
The United Arab Emirates strengthened its humanitarian response to the crisis through a steady flow of:
Urgent food, relief and medical assistance to Palestinian brothers.
Humanitarian Initiatives Inside and Outside Gaza Strip
It established a field hospital within Gaza Strip with a capacity of more than 150 beds.
In addition to the UAE Floating Hospital in Al Arish.
The hospital has a capacity of 100 beds, operating rooms, intensive care, radiation, laboratory, pharmacy and medical warehouses.
The UAE has launched six desalination plants in Egypt’s Rafah region to provide Gaza Strip with its drinking water needs.
The plants are desalinating about 1.2 million gallons a day, pumping them through pipes into Gaza.

The UAE also carried out the campaign “Tahraum for Gaza”.
Which is a community relief campaign in solidarity with Palestinian children and families affected by the current crisis.
Moreover, it is providing basic needs that help them overcome the effects of this humanitarian crisis by creating a safer environment.
These initiatives reflect the UAE’s historic approach and commitment to supporting the Palestinian people, alleviating the humanitarian crisis.
As well as its values of solidarity based on a long history of relief and humanitarian action.
