The UAE Audit Authority Delegation Bolsters Cooperation in Oversight and Integrity with Egypt
A delegation from the UAE Audit Authority visited Egypt to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise in the field of oversight and integrity.
High-Profile Bilateral Meetings
The visit included a series of high-profile bilateral meetings with their Egyptian counterparts.
H.E., the Chairman of the Authority, held a bilateral meeting with H.E., Amr Adel Husni, President of the Egyptian Administrative Control Authority.
During the meeting, they discussed the use of advanced technologies in combating corruption, such as information infrastructure and artificial intelligence.
The National Anti-Corruption Academy’s Vital Role
The meeting addressed the National Anti-Corruption Academy’s vital role in training and knowledge.
By developing the authority’s members and employees skills.
During the meeting, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in relevant fields and exchange knowledge and experiences on the best standards, practices, and national procedures applied by both parties to build capacity and skills in the areas of preventing and combating corruption.
The UAE Audit Authority Chairman met Egypt’s Central Auditing Organization President.
H.E., the Chairman of the UAE Audit Authority, also met with His Excellency Counselor Hesham Badawi, President of the Central Auditing Organization of Egypt.

The two parties discussed issues of common interest and ways to strengthen work within the INTOSAI organization over the next three years under the Egyptian leadership from 2025 to 2028.
The meeting also touched upon Egypt’s ongoing preparations to host the INTOSAI Executive Committee meeting in Cairo by next October.
