A new chapter in the relationship between the UAE and India after a meeting between His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Since this meeting resulted in the signing of three MoUs, which is a testament to the strong and growing ties between the two countries.
Furthermore, the MoUs were signed on 15 – July at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi.
And they include the following:
The MoU on trade in local currencies (dirham/rupee).
This MoU is between the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates and the Reserve Bank of India.
Moreover, HE Khalid Mohamed Salem Balama, governor of the Central Bank of the UAE, and Shaktikant Das, governor of the Reserve Bank of India have signed it.
For sure this MoU will help in facilitating trade between the UAE and India.
Also it is really important because the UAE is India’s second-largest trading partner.
The MoU in cooperation between CBUAE & RBI.
This MoU is in cooperation between the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates and the Reserve Bank of India.
HE Khalid Mohamed Salem Balama and Das have signed this MoU.
In fact this MoU will help to make cross-border payments faster, cheaper and more efficient.
Also, this MoU will be beneficial for businesses and individuals who trade between the UAE and India.
Since this MoU aims to link fast payment systems, cards and messaging systems.
The MoU on the establishment of the Indian Institute of Technology (Delhi)-Abu Dhabi.
This MoU is in cooperation between the following:
–Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge.
-Ministry of Education in India.
-The Indian Institute of Technology (Delhi).
Certainly the establishment of the Indian Institute of Technology (Delhi)-Abu Dhabi is a major development in the field of education.
Because the new campus will be a world-class institution that will attract the best and brightest students from both countries.
Furthermore, It will help to strengthen the ties between the UAE and India in the field of education.
It is obvious that the meeting between Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Indian Prime Minister Modi was successful.
Due to the fact that the signing of the three MoUs is a positive step that will help to strengthen the relationship between the UAE and India.
Mentioning that the two countries have a shared interest in promoting economic growth, trade and investment.
Surely the three signed MoUs will help to achieve these goals and create new opportunities for both countries.
