His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Grants the Global Humanitarian Figure Award
The Global Humanitarian Figure Award by the Mediterranean Parliament went to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The award recognizes His Highness’s role and continued contributions over decades to humanitarian relief efforts around the world.
The award aims to highlight the efforts of leading figures in humanitarian, political, economic, cultural, scientific, and other fields worldwide.
The Parliament selected His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the Global Humanitarian Figure Award.
This was during the eighteenth session of the Parliament General Assembly in Braga, Portugal.
The session recognized the most influential figure in global humanitarian action.
Zayed Legacy Humanitarian Initiative
The Parliament recognized His Highness’s ongoing efforts to support human beings wherever they may be.
As well as his initiatives in humanitarian action areas, his extraordinary response to crises, and humanitarian disaster relief without distinction.
The Global Humanitarian Figure Award paid tribute to the humanitarian efforts that His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has been making for decades, such as the Zayed Legacy Humanitarian Initiative.
The initiative devotes 20 billion dirhams to humanitarian issues in the world’s neediest areas.
The UAE President launched the initiative on the twentieth anniversary of UAE Founder Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s death.
The “Zayed Legacy Humanitarian Initiative” aims to significantly improve the quality of life for the world’s most vulnerable communities.
In addition to granting sustainable development for their status, which emphasizes Sheikh Zayed’s legacy in humanitarian work,.

The United Arab Emirates, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, supports many humanitarian issues in various circumstances.
Including the delivery of COVID-19 vaccines to needy countries through the “Coalition of Hope” initiative.
His Highness also contributed significantly to supporting refugees by providing medical and relief assistance to those affected by the conflicts.
