The Digital School Launches New Phase of Partnership with Kurdistan Regional Government to Empower 100,000 Students
The Digital School is an initiative of the Mohammed bin Rashid Global Initiatives (MBRGI).
Moreover, it has launched a new phase of its partnership with the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) to empower 100,000 students with advanced digital education services and methodologies over the next three years.
This initiative is a significant step towards expanding the reach of the Digital School’s solutions to students around the world.
Key Objectives of the New Phase
During the new phase, the Digital School will focus on achieving the following key objectives:
- The Digital School will expand its reach to empower a larger number of students in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq with access to quality digital education.
- Comprehensive training to 1,500 teachers to equip them with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively deliver digital education.
- Developing dedicated digital education platform in the Kurdish language to cater to the specific needs of students in the region.
- Enhancing the official education curriculum in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
In addition to the transformation into interactive digital content to make learning more engaging and effective. - Establishing 100 digital education spaces within 50 schools to provide students with access to technology and dedicated learning environments.
- Providing over 1,650 computers and projectors to schools to support the implementation of digital education programs.
A Legacy of Educational Excellence
The Digital School was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in November 2020.
It is the first fully integrated digital school of its kind.
Providing students in underserved areas with access to high-quality education through innovative digital learning solutions.
The Digital School has a proven track record of success, having reached over 160,000 students in more than 13 countries.
It has also trained over 2,500 digital teachers and offers educational content in four languages: Arabic, English, French, and Spanish.
