Hamas announced on Thursday that it had fired rockets at Tel Aviv.
This was in response to Israeli airstrikes that targeted “civilians” in two refugee camps in the Gaza Strip.

While, Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades said in a statement posted on its website:
” We were shelling Tel Aviv with a barrage of rockets in response to the targeting of civilians” in the Shati and Jabaliya refugee camps.

Moreover, AFP correspondents witnessed dozens of airstrikes in the space for 30 minutes on Thursday morning.
Which were targeting the Shati refugee camp and the north of the besieged Strip.

Iyad al-Bazm, spokesman for Hamas’ interior ministry: New massacres by the occupation.

“The occupation is committing new massacres by destroying the homes of civilians in the Jabaliya and Shati refugee camps.
Some of which are several floors high, on the heads of their occupants without warning.
Also there are dozens of martyrs and injured,” said Iyad al-Bazm, spokesman for Hamas’ interior ministry.

While AFP correspondents saw at least seven bodies and six destroyed buildings in the Shati refugee camp.

Israel began shelling Gaza after a surprise attack by Hamas on Saturday.
Which Israel responded to with heavy air and artillery strikes on Gaza and a tight blockade of the Strip.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed on Wednesday to “crush” Hamas.
While the Israeli shelling of the Gaza Strip continued for the sixth consecutive day.

More than 1,200 people have been killed in the Palestinian sector in Israeli airstrikes, according to figures from the Ministry of Health.

A spokesperson for the Israeli military said that they suspect a violation of Israeli airspace from Lebanon.
While Israeli media reported that “commandos” from southern Lebanon carried out a parachute landing in northern settlements.
Also, the Israeli websites confirmed that the large attack in the north is similar to the one that happened on the morning of Saturday, October 7, in the Gaza Strip.

The attack comes amid rising tensions between Israel and Lebanon, following the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in Gaza.
