President of the Syrian Arab Republic, H.E Ahmed Al-Sharaa arrived yesterday at Abu Dhabi.
He was received at Al Bateen Airport by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and other senior officials.
Warm Welcome for Ahmed Al Sharaa First Visit to the UAE
HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, may God protect him, and H.E Ahmed Al-Sharaa, President of Syria, discussed the fraternal relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen their cooperation for the benefit of their peoples.
This came during His Highness’s reception of President Al-Sharaa at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi, as part of the latter’s working visit to the UAE.
His Highness warmly welcomed the visiting president.
He wished him success in leading his country during the coming phase and in achieving the aspirations of the brotherly Syrian people for development, security, and stability.

HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Reaffirms the UAE’s Commitment to Support Syria
The two leaders reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on them.
They also discussed the developments in the Syrian Arab Republic.
In this context, His Highness emphasized the UAE’s commitment to supporting the Syrian people in facing the challenges of the transitional phase.
And also in rebuilding the country in a way that fulfills their hopes for a future of peace, stability, and prosperity.
His Highness reaffirmed the UAE’s steadfast position in supporting Syria’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
He stated that Syria’s stability and enhanced security are in the interest of the entire region.
Affirming that the UAE will spare no effort in providing all possible support to Syria and its people in the coming period.

President of the Syrian Arab Republic Thanks HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed
President Ahmed Al-Sharaa expressed his gratitude to HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

He expressed his appreciation for the clear commitment he observed toward enhancing and developing relations between the UAE and Syria across various fields.

Dr. Anwar Gargash: “Prosperous and Stable Syria is Essential For the Future of the Region.”
His Excellency Dr. Anwar bin Mohamed Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, affirmed that the meeting between His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa was a success by all measures.
He noted that the UAE sees a prosperous and stable Syria as essential to the future of the region.
