Sustainability Week 2024 Explores Ways to Employ High-techs and AI
Dubai Chamber of Commerce announced that the activities of Sustainability Week 2024 will focus on the role of digitization and artificial intelligence in developing sustainable business practices.
Sustainability Week 2024 will include innovative ideas.
In order to enhance the contribution of modern technologies to sustainability efforts.
It will also showcase successful models of employing artificial intelligence in developing practical sustainable solutions.
This will encourage the private sector to adopt the best sustainable practices.
Maha Al Gargawi, Vice President of Business Support at Dubai Chambers, stated:
“Through Sustainability Week activities, we aim to strengthen the private sector’s ability to contribute effectively to supporting sustainable development.
By exploring ways to employ advanced technologies and AI to develop sustainable solutions across all sectors.”
A Packed Agenda
Sustainability Week 2024 will feature a rich agenda of events.
The first day will include a seminar on sustainable solutions to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence and digital technologies on sustainability.
Ahmed bin Byat, Founder and CEO of Zina Investments and Vice President of Dubai Chamber for Digital Economy, will participate in the seminar alongside a group of experts.
The seminar will include a panel discussion on the implications of relying on digital solutions and AI technologies to achieve sustainable development goals.
Best practices will be reviewed.
Emphasizing the need to increase the efficiency of supply chains and enhance recycling efforts through innovative digital technologies.
The UAE, represented by the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, participated in the BRICS Energy Ministers’ Meeting, which was recently hosted by the Russian capital, Moscow.

This year’s agenda also includes a forum dedicated to exploring innovative methods for developing digital strategies for the circular economy through a practical simulation.
The forum will discuss the role of AI, IoT, and big data analytics.
As they are improving resource efficiency, reducing waste, and promoting long-term sustainability.
It will highlight how the circular economy can mitigate environmental impact and enhance resilience for the future.
12th Arab CSR and Sustainability Forum
As part of the Sustainability Week activities, Dubai Chamber of Commerce will also host the 12th Arab CSR and Sustainability Forum.
The forum is organized by Arab Network for CSR under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Economy.
Under the theme “Sustainable Prosperity: Redrawing the Roadmap for a Balanced Future.”
