Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed received on Sunday, January 12th several permanent representatives to the United Nations on the sideline of Abu Dhabi’s sustainability week held from January 11th to 18th.
The United Nation administrators incorporated with Permanent Representative of Trinidad and Tobago to the United Nations Penelope Beckles, Permanent Representative of Benin to the United Nations Jean-Claude F. do Rego, Permanent Representative of Burundi to the United Nations Albert Shinjiro, and Permanent Representative of Guinea to the United Nations Fatoumata Kaba.
Sheikh Abdullah discussed with the UN officials means to promote bilateral relations in different sectors.
He also exchanged opinions with them regarding many regional updates that bear common interest.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed asserted his country’s keenness to bolster bilateral relations and cooperation with the international world.
The UN representatives expressed their gratitude and gladness to meet Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, and they made sure to praise the UAE’s efforts to spread renewable energy projects all over the world in order to realise sustainable development for societies.
