Welcoming the virtual meeting, Al Sarkal highlighted Shurooq’s continued push to maximize the growth and viability of Italian companies in Sharjah, highlighting how the digitization policy of the Emirate and increased focus on R&D and technological skills would open up a world of investment opportunities for Italian investors, along with the newly unveiled UAE Domestic Tourism Strategy.

Drawing on his experience of starting up a company in Sharjah, Belli said the main factors were the Emirate’s “advanced logistic capabilities, the efficiency of its services, excellent opportunities to expand into the wider MENA markets, and the easy process of setting up a business.”
