Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS), a SEHA Healthcare Company, reported that the Regional Screening Centers will now operate on Fridays and Saturdays and that working hours will be increased from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. to improve test capacity.
This comes in reaction to a recent statement by the Abu Dhabi Emergency. Conflict and Disaster Committee for the COVID-19 Pandemic. Also, the Health Department – Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi Police, specifying that admission into the Abu Dhabi Emirate comes allowed. All eight Regional Screening Centers, including City Walk, Mina Rashed and Al Khawaneej in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman. Also Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, are provided by the increased operating hours.

Mohamed Hawas Al Sadid, Chief Executive Officer of AHS, commented on the decision. “In response to the recent decision of Abu Dhabi’s admission. and in line with our continuing efforts. To provide people and residents with easy access to screening facilities. We have expanded the operating hours of the National Screening Centers, doubling our screening capability in outdoor centres.
Dr. Noura Al Ghaithi, Chief Operating Officer at AHS, added: “Citizens and citizens above the age of 12 who wish to join Abu Dhabi will undergo a screening check at one of the Northern Emirates Regional Screening Centres. As such, we have expanded the screening capability to ensure the availability of same-day appointments.
We advise anyone who wishes to undergo the screening check, book an appointment via the SEHA app or call Istijaba at 8001717. When you book via Istijaba, people have the option of paying by card at either of the screening centres.
The examination is open to patients for the first time free in the National Screening Centres, as directed by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince and UAE Forces Deputy Supreme Commander.
Recipients include UAE nationals, UAE citizens’ domestic employees, all Determined Citizens, pregnant mothers, and senior residents (over 50 years of age). As well as persons with coronavirus signs, as well as individuals who have come into contact with coronavirus patients. The test costs AED 370 for repeat tests, or those not covered by the directive. If the results are ready they will be viewed in the Hosn app, SEHA app, and sent via SMS.
SEHA New Protection measures
SEHA has introduced stringent protection measures to protect both patients and staff. Such as regulated disinfection entry and temperature tests at the entrance, glass walls.
