Engagement in Volunteer Work
His Excellency Hassan Al Ghoul Al Qaidi expressed his volunteers team delight at spending this holy month with their Syrian refugee brothers.
He noted that a similar Iftar project had already been carried out for Syrian refugees living in makeshift camps near the main camp.
He added:
“Since the first day of Ramadan …
The UAE Relief Team has been actively engaged in charitable work.
The team distributed Ramadan supplies to refugees in the camp.
Followed by distributions to underprivileged families in makeshift camps.
And also to families registered with various charities in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.”
UAE White Hands Spreading Gratitude in Syrian Refugees Camps
Every day, volunteer teams are standing at traffic signals in key locations across Jordan before the Maghrib (sunset) call to prayer to distribute light meals for breaking the fast.
His Excellency expressed his gratitude to the white hands (humanitarian workers).
As well as all the supporters of the Emirates Red Crescent.
The Syrian refugees, in turn, expressed their thanks to the Emirates Red Crescent for these initiatives.
Which highlight the UAE’s commitment to their well-being.
