International Charity Organization Launches 2024 Ramadan Campaign “From What You Love”
International Charity Organization has launched its 2024 Ramadan campaign under the slogan “From What You Love”.
Which aims at implementing charitable projects and initiatives inside and outside the UAE.
Mentioning that the total value exceeding AED 165 million, representing a 10% growth compared to last year.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Naemi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of International Charity Organization, said:
This campaign is one of the most important seasonal initiatives.
Due to its significant role in strengthening solidarity and empathy among members of society.
Alongside reinforcing Islamic values and the principles of charity instilled by the UAE leadership in its citizens and residents.
He urged all departments, branches, and field teams of the organization to make every effort.
In order to ensure that “From What You Love” campaign becomes a source of relief for the sick.
And also a source of joy for the hearts of everyone in need.

He added, “We are approaching the month of goodness and mercy.
Moreover, we are hopeful that this campaign will reflect the most beautiful images of generosity that the International Charity Organization has accustomed us to.

Ramadan Campaign “From What You Love” Initiatives
Dr. Khalid Abdul Wahab Al Khaja, Secretary-General of the organization, confirmed that the campaign includes a large number of charitable projects and initiatives, the most prominent of which are:
- Iftar for the fasting (Iftar during Ramadan) valued at AED 9.8 million.
- Zakat al-Fitr (obligatory charity paid at the end of Ramadan) at approximately AED 1.3 million.
- Zakat al-Mal (obligatory charity on wealth) exceeding AED 28 million.
- Eid clothing (clothing for Eid al-Fitr) at AED 1 million.
- Building, maintenance, and furnishing of mosques at a cost exceeding AED 20 million.
- Drilling wells at approximately AED 9.5 million.
- Orphan projects reaching AED 40 million.
- Other diverse projects exceeding AED 55 million.
Readiness and New Initiatives
He emphasized the organization’s readiness and its personnel’s preparedness to implement the campaign’s projects and initiatives.
As well as creating a smooth environment for donation mechanisms through the website, text messages, and various platforms.
In addition to the presence of the organization’s representatives in markets and shopping centers.
He pointed out the existence of new initiatives.
Such as Zakat al-Mal for companies and orphan package projects.
Alongside other important initiatives such as the Ramadan Iftars in Al Khaimah and Iftars in Muslim villages.
