“Race to Dubai” golf season spans the globe with at least 42 tournaments held in 26 different countries.
Its finale will take place in the UAE, featuring the top-ranked players in “Race to Dubai” rankings.
The final playoffs are scheduled for November as below:
- Abu Dhabi Championship at Yas Links from November 6-9
- DP World Tour Championship at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai from November 13-16
Who are the Golfers at Race to Dubai 2025 ?
English golfer Laurie Canter has taken the top spot in DP World Tour’s “Race to Dubai” rankings, accumulating 1,507 points this season.
His rise was fueled by securing the runner-up position at the Investec South African Open.
Canter earned 334 points from his second-place finish in Durban.
He previously won the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship in February, adding 585 points to his tally.
He also claimed third place in the Hero Dubai Desert Classic in January, gaining 500 points.
With these results, Canter surpassed fellow Englishman Tyrrell Hatton.
As Hatton got 1,335 points and won the Hero Dubai Desert Classic earlier this season.

The First Victory for Dylan Naidoo
South African golfer Dylan Naidoo celebrated his first-ever DP World Tour victory in front of his home crowd.
He defeated Canter by a single stroke in a playoff to claim 500 points.
His win propelled him 25 places up the rankings to sixth in the “Race to Dubai” standings.
Heavy rain in Durban led to the cancellation of the fourth round.
Accordingly, the tournament proceeded directly to a playoff at the 18th hole, based on player standings after the first 54 holes.

The Investec South African Open is part of the “International Series” on this season’s DP World Tour.
It also includes tournaments in Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah (UAE), as well as two events in Bahrain and Qatar.
