Today, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” received the credentials of new ambassadors from a number of friendly countries appointed to the state.
The ceremony was attended by HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs.
HE Mohammed Sultan Mohammed Al Qurtasi Al Nuaimi, Ambassador of the State to the Republic of Mongolia, also took the legal oath before His Highness.
The UAE is keen to consolidate its relations with various countries of the world.
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed welcomed the ambassadors during the reception ceremonies held at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi.
He also wished them success in their missions to enhance relations between the UAE and their countries in various fields.
His Highness confirmed that they would find all the support from the relevant authorities in the state to facilitate their work.
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed stated that the UAE is keen to consolidate its relations with various countries of the world.
This is on solid foundations of mutual respect and joint action to achieve development and prosperity for all.
The President of the State received the credentials of the following ambassadors:
- Cornelius Walegerea, Ambassador of the Solomon Islands.
- Nabil Abdel Khaleq, Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
- Nguyen Thanh Diep, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
- Najmuddin Muhammad Ali, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- Mohamed Hussein Sharif, Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives.
- Caroline Konther Lopez, Ambassador of the Republic of Paraguay.
- Hussein Abdi Halane, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
- Esono Anosogo Hassan, Ambassador of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.
- Stephanie Stephenson, Ambassador of Iceland.
- Elisabetta Buschi, Ambassador of the Republic of San Marino.
- Viliu Hanoschik, Ambassador of the Republic of Namibia.
- Augustine Ntshumani, Ambassador of the Republic of Botswana.
- Saman Manan, Ambassador of the Republic of Cambodia.
- Moujaidou Soumanou Assoufu, Ambassador of the Republic of Benin.
- Denis Toscano Amores, Ambassador of the Republic of Ecuador.
- Peter Adelbai, Ambassador of the Republic of Palau.

The ambassadors conveyed the greetings of their leaders to His Highness the President of the State.
As well as their wishes for further progress and prosperity for the UAE.
They also expressed their happiness to represent their countries to the UAE and their keenness to enhance their relations with the state at all levels.
