Today, President of State, HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, attended a state dinner hosted by H.E Sergio Mattarella, President of Italy.
The dinner was made in honor of His Highness and his accompanying delegation.
His Excellency President Sergio Mattarella welcomed His Highness’s visit to Italy.
Emphasizing the deep ties between the two countries.
As well as their shared commitment to further strengthening cooperation for the benefit of their peoples.
President of State: “The UAE and Italy strategic relations continue to develop and grow”
For his part, His Highness the President of State expressed his gratitude to President Sergio Mattarella for the warm welcome and kind words.
Reflecting the strong bonds between the two nations and their mutual desire to continue enhancing them.
His Highness stated:
“The strategic relations between the UAE and Italy continue to develop and grow.
Our visit to your friendly country reflects our aspiration to work together towards a significant leap in our distinguished strategic partnership.
Moving towards a new phase of cooperation and shared economic growth.”
His Highness also expressed confidence that the outcomes of this visit would have a profound impact on advancing bilateral relations at all levels.
Wishing Italy and its people further progress and prosperity.
Medals Exchange
During the meeting, His Highness the President and His Excellency the Italian President exchanged official medals.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed awarded President Sergio Mattarella the “Order of Zayed,” the UAE’s highest civilian honor bestowed upon heads of state and leaders. In return, President Mattarella awarded His Highness the “Order of Merit of the Italian Republic,” Italy’s highest honor granted to leaders, monarchs, and presidents.
Additionally, the two leaders exchanged a collection of gifts symbolizing the rich history and heritage of both nations.
