Pope Francis consideres that the greatness of any country in the world is not measured by wealth alone.
But Also by its tangible role in spreading the values of peace, brotherhood, coexistence, and defending them.
He expressed his great appreciation for the commitment of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed to support international efforts for peace and tolerance.
Accordingly, Pope Francis said: “investing in culture helps with the hatred decrease and contributes in the growth of civilization and prosperity.”
Pope Francis expressed his great appreciation for Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed commitment to combating diseases all over the world.
Along with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed promotion for the principles of the “Human Fraternity Document” through concrete initiatives aimed at improving the lives of the deprived and the sick.
He said, “I am grateful to him and to the UAE commitment in order to turn the teachings of the document into concrete actions.
As goodness must be global, because brotherhood is naturally global.”
Pope Francis described the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan saying:
“a wonderful example of a visionary leader who built his country on tolerance, coexistence, education, and youth”
Also he confirmed that his sons are following in his footsteps.
He continued:
“I really appreciate the UAE’s commitment.
Also I appreciate Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed constant efforts in building the future and shaping an open identity, capable of overcoming the temptation of self-closure and rigidity.
furthermore I appreciate his support for the international efforts aiming at peace and tolerance.
Since investing in culture helps with the hatred decrease and contributes to the growth of civilization and prosperity.”
Regarding the “Human Fraternity Document,” Pope Francis said:
“I present it to all delegations that I receive at the Vatican.
As I believe it is important text, not only for dialogue between religions but for peaceful coexistence among all humans.”
He added:
“I am very pleased with the global community’s acceptance and understanding of the document message.
As the document goals are a guide for future generations.
Also it is a recognition that we are all members of one human family.”
Pope Francis concluded:
“I would like to say that the document is a light that guides everyone.
Also it is a road-map for anyone who bravely chooses to be a peace maker in our torn world due to war, violence, hatred, and terrorism.
Human fraternity is the medicine that the world needs to heal from the poison of these wounds.”
