“Operation Chivalrous knight 2” successfully ended, congratulation to the UAE for this achievement.
“Operation Chivalrous knight 2” carried out based on the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed the President of the UAE.
Along with the participation of the following institutions:
-Ministry of Interior.
-Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
-Abu Dhabi Health Department.
-The Emirates Red Crescent Authority.
-Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation
-Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works.
About Operation Chivalrous knight 2:
The operation aims to support the brothers and friends affected by the devastating earthquake in Syria and Turkey.
And it lasted for more than 5 months.
“Operation Chivalrous knight 2” is considered one of the most successful joint operations carried out by Emirati national institutions.
Since it prioritized its objectives in coordination with the authorities in the affected countries.
Obviously, this shows the prominent humanitarian approach of the UAE and the implementation of the directives of our wise leadership in supporting brothers and friends.
Results of Operation Chivalrous knight 2:
Consequently, the operation resulted in the rescue of dozens of people from under the rubble.
Besides the treatment of 13,463 cases.
As well as providing humanitarian aid amounting to 15,164 tons through the air bridge.
Furthermore, the air bridge organized 260 flights carrying 6,912 tons of urgent aid materials including tents, basic food, and medicines.
Meanwhile, 8,252 tons of humanitarian aid were transported by 4 cargo ships. Cargo ships included relief and reconstruction materials to the affected areas.
“Joined Operation Command” announced that Emirates Red Crescent Authority will continue with supporting Syrian brothers.
Also, all tasks and activities were handed over to the team of the UAE authority present in Syria.
Moreover, the team will complete the construction of housing units for the first project.
Since the first project has reached a completion rate of 30%, it includes 1,000 residential units.
In addition, a contract to establish the second project was proceeded.
Mentioning that 2nd project includes the below:
-500 housing units.
-Clinic building.
-Mosque.
-Commercial complex.
Constantly, the supplement of food, medical supplies and drugs will be available.
Also, the needs of different sectors targeting psychological and social support will be provided.
To finalize, this humanitarian achievement reflects the UAE commitment to support those in need and promote global humanitarian efforts.
