One Million Prompters by Dubai Center for AI
Dubai Center for AI announced today the launch of “One Million Prompters” initiative, directed by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
This initiative was launched in May 2024.
It aims to train one million individuals over the next three years on specialized skills related to programming and engineering of AI prompts across various AI applications, starting from Dubai.
The initiative, a first of its kind, welcomes participants from diverse nationalities and specialties.
It offers them the opportunity to acquire high-quality specialized skills in generative AI prompt programming.
Enhancing their professional and creative capabilities on both individual and institutional levels.
Future Goals of One Million Prompters
One Million Prompters was launched as part of efforts to achieve the goals of Dubai’s Annual Plan to accelerate the adoption of AI applications.
It aims to prepare competent experts with skills to deploy AI applications effectively, accelerate innovation, development, and utilize technology for human welfare.
This reinforces Dubai’s global position as an AI hub and a destination for promising investments.
Insights from Saif Al Falasi
Saif Al Falasi, Director of Dubai Center for AI under Dubai Future Foundation, affirmed that the initiative opens new opportunities for participants from all disciplines.
It enables them to lead the deployment of AI in vital, creative, and cognitive sectors.
Besides preparing them to harness AI benefits for designing the future and opening new horizons from Dubai.
He added, “This initiative enhances Dubai’s competitiveness, readiness, and leadership in adopting future technologies.
It also builds global-level capacities, empowering expertise in AI prompt programming and activating its applications.

Diverse Courses Offered
One Million Prompters initiative includes four diverse courses:
- Basics of Artificial Intelligence and how to use programming skills to maximize its potential.
- Mastering interaction with smart chatbots through programming commands that enhance effective conversations with AI tools.
- Introduction to AI tools that facilitate daily tasks and boost productivity.
- Enhancing creative capabilities and employing AI in creating artistic works, music, and innovative videos.
Upon completion of these courses, participants will receive accredited certificates.
