A new research by online travel agency, Love Holidays conducted. The agency looked at over 3,000 destination awards won by countries from around the world over the last five years (2015 – 2019), separating them into six categories travel, hospitality, destination, business, entertainment and conservation – in order to determine the most award-winning cities and countries in the world. And naturally, of course, the UAE came out on top.
Over the last five years, the UAE has won 282 travel-related awards, and was found to be the world’s best city for business travel. By comparison, the United States, who came in second place, had won 188 awards over the same five-year time period.
The UAE was also ranked number one in the categories of travel, hospitality, business and entertainment.
The agency also found that the Burj Al Arab had won the World Travel Awards’ Middle East’s Leading All Suite Hotel award every year between 2015 and 2019. Talk about living the suite life.
