Ninth group of wounded Palestinian children and cancer patients arrives in Abu Dhabi
Yesterday, the ninth group of wounded Palestinian children and cancer patients arrived at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
This initiative fulfills the directives of H.H Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed to treat 1,000 wounded Palestinian children and 1,000 cancer patients from Gaza Strip in UAE hospitals.
The UAE is Keen to Support the Palestinian Brothers in Gaza Strip
As part of the UAE leading role in humanitarian work, UAE is keen to support the Palestinian brothers in Gaza Strip and alleviate their suffering.
This is done through treating wounded Palestinian children and cancer patients.
Due to the significant deterioration of the healthcare sector in the Strip.
This support is also provided through “Chivalrous Knight 3” humanitarian operation.
Dr. Maha Taysir Barakat, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Medical Affairs and Life Sciences, accompanied the evacuation plane from El Arish.
Barakat explained that 49 wounded children and cancer patients and their caregivers were evacuated and transferred from El Arish Airport.
This was under the supervision of a specialized medical team.
Moreover, the team conducted the evacuation after examining and assessing their conditions.
Dr. Maha Taysir Barakat noted that state hospitals have received 426 patients since the launch of the initiative, before the arrival of the ninth group.
The Emirati Field Hospital in southern Gaza has received 2,644 injured patients
Since its inauguration, the Emirati Field Hospital in southern Gaza has received 2,644 injured patients.
The patients are with varying degrees of injuries, ranging from moderate to severe.
The medical staff at the hospital has been able to save the lives of many Palestinian brothers.
While the total amount of Emirati humanitarian aid reached 15,000 tons of food assistance.
The Emirati humanitarian aid hasn’t stopped since the launch of “Chivalrous Knight 3” operation.

Barakat noted that the UAE has established desalination stations with a total capacity of 1.2 million gallons per day.
Which are pumped into the Gaza Strip and benefit more than 600,000 people.
A group of injured patients and their accompanying families expressed their gratitude to the government and leadership of the UAE.
Due to this humanitarian initiative.
They thanked the UAE for treating the wounded children and cancer patients.
Also for helping them in receiving the best treatment in UAE hospitals, and for standing with the Palestinian people and supporting them.
Since the beginning of the crisis, the UAE has been quick to provide urgent humanitarian, relief, and aid supplies to Gaza Strip.
This was through many humanitarian initiatives including: Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 , Tarahum For Gaza and more.
