A shipment of Emirati Ambulances, following a previous one sent in September, comes to support the healthcare sector in Ukraine.
The UAE Embassy in Poland received a ship today carrying 27 fully equipped ambulances.
With this, the total number of ambulances donated by the UAE to Ukraine throughout 2023 has reached 50.
Moreover, the UAE Embassy in Poland has been working continuously since the beginning of the crisis in Ukraine.
In order to facilitate the transportation of Emirati aid from Poland to the Ukrainian border.
Mr. Majed bin Kamal, Director of Support and Humanitarian Aid at the Office of International Affairs in the Presidential Court, affirmed the ongoing delivery of more shipments in the coming weeks, including winter aid for Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the crisis, the UAE has provided urgent relief supplies to those affected in Ukraine, including:
- $100 million to Ukrainian civilians
- An air bridge with 12 planes so far carrying around 714 tons of relief supplies, essential food and medical supplies, 2520 generators, 33 ambulances, 2500 laptops, and 10,000 schoolbags
- A ship carrying 250 tons of relief supplies including blankets, personal necessities, and lamps sent to Poland and Romania for subsequent transportation into Ukrainian territory
- Flights carrying relief supplies for Ukrainian refugees in neighboring countries such as Poland, Moldova, and Bulgaria
