A short video showing the arrival of the UAE rescue team aboard two military aircraft loaded with search and rescue equipment at Yangon International Airport was met with overwhelming appreciation.

The comments reflected the gratitude and recognition of Myanmar’s public for the UAE’s spirit of humanity and solidarity during crises.

A citizen from Myanmar, Kaung Lay Kaung, shared:
“I feel immense joy. Thank you for the help you are providing to Myanmar.”

Another, Lay Win, described his emotions as a mix of sorrow and joy.
Emphasizing that the support represents the highest values of human compassion:

“We are deeply grateful, and we wish you success and peace.”

Meanwhile, Mya Myint Thwin urged the relief team to act quickly, stating:
“Thank you! Please help the people as fast as possible.”

Emirati Rescue Team Assists Citizens Affected by Myanmar Earthquake

The UAE rescue team continues its relief operations in Myanmar.
In order to assist those affected by the devastating earthquake, which has claimed around 3,000 lives.

Just after Myanmar earthquake, two Emirati military aircraft landed at Yangon International Airport.
Those two aircraft were carrying search and rescue team from 40 members with specialized equipment.
Officials from Myanmar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief, and Resettlement welcomed the Emirati team.
