Elon Musk Donated $130 Million to Donald Trump Campaign
Two years ago, American entrepreneur Elon Musk spent $44 billion acquiring the social media platform Twitter.
He subsequently renamed it “X”, many investors and analysts have viewed his decision as a financial misstep.
Moreover, Musk has publicly supported current President Donald Trump in his recent bid for the presidency.
This was by expressing support through posts on his platform.
And also by donating around $130 million to Trump’s campaign.
39% Rise in Tesla’s Stock
According to CNBC, Musk’s wealth has increased by approximately $70 billion since Trump’s victory in the recent presidential race.
Primarily due to a surge in Tesla’s stock, which rose 39% in just four sessions.
This rally pushed Tesla’s market cap past the $1 trillion mark.
Musk’s current net wealth is near $320 billion, which secures his position as the world’s richest person.
With a substantial lead of $90 billion over Oracle founder Larry Ellison, according to Forbes.
Ellison, a close friend of Musk and a former Tesla board member, is also a key donor to the Republican party.
Since Trump’s win, Oracle’s stock has gained about 10%, increasing Ellison’s wealth by roughly $20 billion.

Reports indicate that Musk has been actively involved in discussions with Trump.
Mentioning that he might benefit further from his political support.
Following Trump’s re-election, Musk joined Trump on a call with the Ukrainian president.
Accordingly he has reportedly been involved in U.S. administration staffing decisions.
He’s also been spending considerable time at Trump’s Florida resort since the election.
In addition, he recently conducted a poll for his 200 million followers on “X”.
Through this poll he was asking for their opinions on the best candidate for Senate Majority Leader.
