The Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, announced the conclusion of the “10 Million Meals” campaign. The global human model established by His Highness in the initiatives of giving, fraternity, and human solidarity, so everyone was a help to all.

Today, we concluded our humanitarian ‘10 million meals’ campaign. Over 100,000 participant from 115 nationalities helped secure 15.3 million meals. More than 1,000 volunteers are working daily to distribute food. All segments of the UAE society united to help people in need.

The prominent role of Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum
This initiative is under the gracious patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Emirates Food Bank. She explained that unprecedented records exceeded its final goal and recorded 15 million meals, just one month after its launch. With the aim of providing support and food security to individuals, vulnerable families. As well as, groups most affected by the repercussions of the exceptional circumstances imposed by the emerging corona epidemic on the whole world.

1000 volunteers contribute to achieving the goals of the “10 million meals” campaign
Since its launch, the 10 million meals campaign has recorded more than 1,000 volunteers. In order to provide nutritional support to the needy families, and the sectors most affected by the repercussions of the new epidemic of “corona”.
The volunteers, citizens, and residents, from different regions, specialities, and age groups, from 18 to 53 years old. They flocked to participate in the largest national community campaign.
