Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center team won several awards from NASA at the conclusion of the 69th mission ceremony at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.
Moreover, the center’s delegation celebrated the success of the 69th mission and the close cooperation with NASA.
UAE Minister of State for Youth, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Neyadi, received NASA Distinguished Public Service Medal.
As well as NASA Space Exploration Medal for his services and significant contributions to the field of space exploration.
Dr. Hanan Al Suwaidi, a NASA astronaut physician, received the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Johnson Space Center – NASA.
Due to her efforts in providing medical care to the 69th mission and the Crew-6 crew.

Astronauts Hazza Al Mansouri, director of the Astronauts Office at the Center, Nora Al Matrooshi, and Mohammed Al Mulla, also attended the event.

NASA astronaut Jessica Meir rang the bell at the Johnson Space Center to officially end the 69th mission.
The ceremony also featured a session in which the crew spoke about their experiences.
In addition to facts about their mission, inspiring the audience with their hard work, collaboration, and passion for exploration.
The UAE Astronaut Program is one of the projects funded by the Information and Communications Technology Fund.
It is also affiliated with the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority and the Digital Government.
Which aims to support research and development in the ICT sector.
This is a significant achievement for Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center.
