Continuous development in the UAE’s Government structure.
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, announced a new Cabinet formation, as a continual development in the structure of the UAE Government.

“Brothers and sisters…
After consulting with my brother Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Head of State, and after his blessing and accreditation..
And as s a continual of the constant development in the structure of the Government of the United Arab Emirates.
Today we announce a new ministerial formation in the UAE:
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum joined the Government of the UAE as Deputy Prime Minister, and appointed as the UAE Minister of Defense. ”
New Cabinet Formation in the UAE as per HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid
- Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum:He has joined the UAE government as Deputy Prime Minister, also has been appointed as the Minister of Defense in the UAE.
His Highness leadership qualities and commitment are expected to contribute significantly to the country’s future. - Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan:He has been appointed as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
His role will be crucial in shaping the UAE’s international relations. - Education and Community Development:The UAE government has restructured the Council for Education, Human Resources, and Community Development.
It will be led by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, with Sheikha Mariam bint Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan as the Deputy Chair.The Ministry of Community Development will also be part of this council.
Along with the Ministries of Education, Higher Education, and Federal Universities.
Sheikha Mariam bint Mohamed bin Zayed has been appointed as the head of the National Center for Educational Quality.
Other Appointments:
- Abdulrahman Al Awar has been named Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
In addition to his current role as Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation. - Ahmed Belhoul has been appointed as Minister of Sports and President of the Higher Colleges of Technology in the UAE.
He will also lead the UAE Space Agency. - Furthermore, Alya Al Mazroui has been appointed as Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, with a focus on creating greater economic opportunities for Emirati citizens.

“Today, we also announce the appointment of Ahmed Balhoul as Minister of Sport and Head of the country’s Top Technical Colleges.
In addition to his duties as President of the Emirates Space Agency.
Among the new changes in the Federal Government, we also announce the appointment of Alia Abdullah Al-Mazrouei as Minister of State for Entrepreneurship.
Alia has distinguished experience in the private and government sectors of the State.
Her role will be important in creating greater economic opportunities for the nation’s daughters and sons.
