His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received an international phone call from Charles Michel, President of the European Council, discussing ways to strengthen cooperation relations between the United Arab Emirates, the European Union and its friendly countries in various fields in addition to a number of regional and international issues of common concern.

During the international phone call, the two sides also discussed developments in the Middle East and Eastern Mediterranean regions, efforts to enhance peace and security in the region, in addition to the threat of extremism and terrorism and the need for effective regional and international action to counter it, and deepen the foundations for dialogue and tolerance among peoples of different religions and cultures.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt, discussed the solid fraternal relations and aspects of cooperation between the two countries and ways to develop it in various fields to achieve their common aspirations and interests, which was today during an international phone call.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Egyptian President also reviewed developments in regional and international issues of common concern and exchanged views on them, in addition to the current developments in the Arab region and the challenges and crises it faces.

The two sides affirmed, during the international phone call, their keenness to continue consultations and coordination between the two brotherly countries on many issues and common issues in order to enhance brotherly relations and achieve security, stability, peace and development for the region and its peoples.
