Mohamed bin Zayed hosts French Minister of Armed Forces

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi hosted Florence Parly, The French Minister of the Armed Forces, on Monday.

The French Minister is on the same path with the UAE

Sheikh Mohamed and Parly addressed ways to improve bilateral relations as well as cooperation in military and defense affairs.

In addition to the recent regional developments and the attempts being made against them, they shared views on a variety of regional and international topics of common concern.

Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defense Affairs attended the conference. Also Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Authority of Abu Dhabi, EAA, and Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei were there. Alongside members of the delegation accompanying the French Minister attended the conference.

Strong ties between the two countries

Two weeks ago, In the context of the strategic relationship between the two countries. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also addressed bilateral ties with French President Emmanuel Macron.

There’re close relations between the two friendly countries of France and the UAE. His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed in a phone call stressed on these relations. There is A variety of regional and international issues of common concern. The two presidents  discussed them.

Sheikh Mohamed shared the criticism of the latest terrorist attacks in France. He also expressed his condolences on behalf of the victims and their relatives to the French President. He also wished the wounded a swift recovery.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed emphasized that these brutal atrocities are contradictory with all monotheistic religions’ teachings and ideals. He called for unity, harmony and love, and stressing human life’s sanctity.

There will also be a great outcome from such conferences between strong countries like the UAE & France. We hope to see the effect of this globally in the near future.
