In December 2023, mobile data services provided by Etisalat and Du in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) had the fastest speeds in the world.
The average mobile internet speed in the UAE was 303 Mbps, followed by Qatar at 244 Mbps and Kuwait at 184 Mbps.
While the UAE’s speeds were more than double those of other major business hubs with good internet quality.
Such as China (160 Mbps), Denmark (152 Mbps), Norway (146 Mbps), and South Korea (140 Mbps).
Mentioning that the UAE ranked first in the Arab world and seventh globally for fixed internet speeds in December.
With an average of 248 Mbps. Singapore was the leader in this category.
