Burj Al Arab Welcomes Middle East Blockchain Awards
Dubai is hosting the second edition of the Middle East Blockchain Awards following the remarkable success of its inaugural edition.
The awards ceremony will take place at the globally renowned architectural masterpiece, Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, on April 29.
Coinciding with the TOKEN2049 conference.
The event will bring together elite leaders, innovators, and visionaries in the field to celebrate the most outstanding achievements in the blockchain and cryptocurrency sectors.

The 7th Largest Cryptocurrency Market
According to the latest data from Chainalysis, the MENA region ranks as the seventh-largest cryptocurrency market globally.
Between July 2023 and June 2024, the region received approximately $338.7 billion in blockchain-based financial transactions.
Accounting for 7.5% of global transactions.
The UAE has emerged as a global leader in the adoption of digital assets.
According to the latest report by Henley & Partners, the UAE ranks third globally in cryptocurrency usage.
Chainalysis data also revealed that the UAE received around $34 billion in cryptocurrency between June 2023 and July 2024.
Marking an annual growth rate of 42%.
This growth has been driven by the country’s ambitious approach to blockchain technologies.
With cities like Dubai successfully establishing themselves as key innovation hubs.
