Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed chairs the first meeting of MGX
Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Board of Directors of MGX, chaired the company’s first board meeting on Monday.
During the meeting, Sheikh Tahnoon emphasized the importance of MGX’s mission.
As it is contributing to build a future where technology plays a major role in serving humanity, enhancing well-being, sustainability, and connectivity between countries.
The meeting reviewed the agenda items and the board approved decisions related to corporate governance and financial matters of importance to the company and its future progress.
The meeting was attended by the following gentlemen:
- Khaldoun Al Mubarak, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors
- Jassim Al Zaabi
- Bing Xiao
- Ahmed Idrissi.

It is noteworthy that the Abu Dhabi Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology Council announced the establishment of MGX in March, through a partnership between Mubadala Investment Company and G42.
Abu Dhabi Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology Council is working to develop and implement policies and strategies related to artificial intelligence and advanced technologies, investments, and research in Abu Dhabi.
