The American technology and internet services company “Meta Platforms” announced yesterday the launch of Meta AI chatbot in 21 new countries.
Those countries include the UK and Brazil, where the company has large user bases.
Meta AI is an advanced AI assistant developed by Meta (formerly known as Facebook).
It’s designed to enhance communication and interaction across various Meta platforms.
Including Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp.
And even upcoming devices like the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and Quest 3.
How can I Use Meta AI Chatbot ?
Meta AI allows users to interact with it using natural language prompts.
You can ask questions, engage in conversations, and generate AI images.
It’s not just a text-based chatbot; it also supports voice interactions.
With Meta AI, you can now use your voice to talk to the assistant on Messenger, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram DM.
It responds back to you audibly, making interactions more natural and conversational.
Additionally, you’ll be able to choose from different voice options for your assistant.
Including celebrity voices like Awkwafina, Dame Judi Dench, John Cena, Keegan Michael Key, and Kristen Bell.
300 million Users Per Month
Meta AI can now analyze photos shared in chats.
It understands what it’s looking at and can answer questions about the content.
It is also testing an AI translation tool for Reels (short video clips).
This feature will automatically translate audio content, allowing more people to enjoy creator content regardless of language barriers.
Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, mentioned last month that “Meta AI Chatbot” has 300 million monthly users.
With the new expansions, the AI chat platform will be available starting today for users in the UK and Brazil.
As well as several countries in Latin America and Asia.

43 countries and dozens of languages
In addition to the expansion, the company will be adding new languages to the Meta AI Chatbot.
Including Tagalog, spoken by millions in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
It will also add Western languages and Thai in the near future.
Meta stated that the platform will be launched in 43 countries, with dozens of languages to be added later.
Since last year, Zuckerberg has been focusing the company’s efforts on integrating AI into its products.
This strategy credited with the recent growth in user numbers and advertising success.
