The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian & Charity Establishment (MBRCH) has contributed AED19 million to the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities (IACAD) Community Solidarity Fund Against COVID-19.

Ibrahim Mohammed Bu Melha, Adviser to the Ruler of Dubai on Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of MBRCH, said that the commitment of the State is part of its duty for the UAE society, irrespective of race, ethnicity or nationality. The Fund gives corporate executives and leading national organizations the ability to help alleviate people’s struggles and promote attempts to reduce COVID-19’s ramifications.
The MBRCH is a groundbreaking body both within and outside the UAE in the field of voluntary and humanitarian work. The fund is to help those in need during the coronavirus pandemic.
But Melha emphasized the keen involvement of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. He admires the offering of all kinds of assistance to the initiatives and organizations. All under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives.
The Muslim Solidarity Fund Against COVID-19
It declared by the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities (IACAD) seeks to encourage voluntary efforts and also donations to counter the outbreak of COVID-19. In addition, The Fund seeks to forge collaboration with governmental entities, charity associations, and members of society. This is to help alleviate current economic, social, and health challenges.
The MBRCH donation to the fund seeks to help reduce the virus’ environmental, cultural, and social effects. It also assists those in need in the light of current circumstances. The fund offers corporate groups and leading public organizations an incentive. This is also to help alleviate people’s struggles and promote efforts to reduce Covid-19‘s consequences.
