The beautiful new “Mangrove Beach” is now open in the UAE
Will you need to take a deep breath and go back to nature? This year, stays and adventures in the UAE have become more popular (and necessary) than ever before. It looks like it’s time for another road trip as the beautiful new ‘Mangrove beach’ opened in the UAE.
You’ll find the gorgeous beach at Khor Al Yeefrah, Umm Al Quwain, which is about a 55-minute drive from Dubai. Public buildings are now being established on the sand. So far, these have wooden swings and sunshades to shelter you from the sun.
The new Mangrove Beach is outstanding by every meaning
A variety of photographs of Mangrove Beach have been unveiled, and it looks simply beautiful, with swathes of seawater streaming over mangrove trees. As well as exploring, it seems like a great place for sunbathing, biking and relaxing. It’s another perfect location in the UAE.
According to the Emirate News Agency (WAM), “The Department of Tourism and Antiquities of Umm Al Qaiwain is continuing to prepare for the official inauguration of the beach, the first of its kind in the Emirate, with the aim of promoting environmental tourism and highlighting the importance of mangroves.”
Mangrove Beach in Umm Al Qaiwain is the second mangrove area open to the public in the UAE. Back in February 2020, Jubail Mangrove Park opened its doors in Abu Dhabi, with a massive boardwalk and sightseeing opportunities such as kayaking.
Mangroves play an important role in the climate of the UAE and beyond, by reducing carbon dioxide in the air, which leads to a positive decline in global warming. Mangroves are the home of many various species of birds and aquatic life.
The new Mangrove Beach is by every meaning the most beautiful beach in the whole middle east. If you need to relax, you just have to pay it a visit.
