The Khalifa Foundation distributes 42,000 food parcels to families registered with the Ministry of Community Development. The Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation announced that from the 15th of April they will begin to deliver food parcels to needy households registered with the UAE Ministry of Community Development (MOCD).

The delivery of over 42,000 food supply parcels will drastically improve the lives of many of the less fortunate during this difficult time. Due to the rapid spread of Coronavirus, many have found themselves unable to continue working. Economies are suffering.
The United Arab Emirates has constantly been at the forefront of the fight against Coronavirus. With aggressive counter-attack measures put into places across all areas of the government. Several stimulus packages were rolled out—valued at a combined 126 billion dirhams, which will help soften the economic blow for all people of the Emirates.
Now through the kindness and generosity of the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation. Families will have the necessary food and supplies to make it through the viral outbreak. The UAE is totally dedicated to the care of its people and any humanitarian efforts which support that.
President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nayhan announced the implementation of the initiative with the support of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and deputy prime minister, Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The initiative highlights the importance of adhering to the government’s preventative measures and instructions to stay home to ensure the safety of each and every individual.
