UAE Secured 45.4% of Japan Oil Imports in April 2024
Japan oil imports were dominated by the UAE through last April, the quantity of oil barrels reached 35.79 million.
In fact, the UAE emerged as the primary supplier of crude oil to Japan in April 2024.
As it has accounted for 45.4% of the country’s total oil imports.
Japan imported approximately 74.39 million barrels of oil during the month, with Arab oil sources contributing 94.7% of this volume.

Kuwait (6%), Qatar (3.5%), Oman (0.6%), and the Neutral Zone (0.6%).
Japan’s reliance on Middle Eastern oil sources stems from geographical proximity and the region’s vast oil reserves.
