DWTC Welcomes Japan Kyoto Trade Exhibition 2025
A press conference held yesterday in Dubai revealed that DWTC will welcome the 2nd “Japan Kyoto Trade Exhibition 2025”.
This will be from 10 to 12 February next year, with over 150 participating Japanese companies and brands.
Mentioning that the first Japan Kyoto Trade Exhibition has successfully welcomed 95 exhibitors from Kyoto alone.
The press conference was attended by officials and a large number of businessmen, including:
- Toshimi Yamazaki, founder of the Japanese company Ringo and advisor on ICT strategy in Kyotango City
- Mai Sakawi, CEO of Maiko Enterprise and Executive Chairperson of Japan Trade Exhibition in Dubai 2025
- Rina Fujihashi, a member of the organizing committee of the Japan Trade Exhibition 2025
Expanding in the UAE
Japanese companies CEOs have emphasized the importance of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which was recently announced to commence negotiations between the UAE and Japan.
They highlighted the agreement’s role in increasing Japanese companies expanding in the UAE and Middle Eastern markets.
The agreement has also enhanced trade exchange between the two countries.
$36 billion Trade Investments
According to Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), the trade exchange reached about 132 billion dirhams ($36 billion) in the first nine months of 2024.
On 18-September, the two countries announced the start of talks to reach a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement.
This agreement aims at opening new horizons for developmental partnerships.
In order to support the sustainable economic prosperity and growth of both nations and their peoples.

UAE-Japan B2B Platform
In his remarks at the press conference in Dubai, Toshimi Yamazaki, stated:
“The first Japan Kyoto Trade Exhibition succeeded in establishing the largest B2B platform.
This platform brought together leading Japanese companies, business leaders, and investors in the UAE and the region.
Enhancing the attractiveness of the exhibition, so it attracts more Japanese companies from various fields.
From traditional industries to advanced technology, to be present in the dynamic UAE market, making an important opportunity to strengthen relations.”
