Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 Welcomes the Indonesian Medical Team
An Indonesian multidisciplinary medical team has joined the Emirati Integrated Field Hospital in Gaza as part of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.”
This move strengthens international cooperation in the field of healthcare, with the team now providing advanced medical services to injured Palestinians.
Upon their arrival, the Indonesian medical team conducted precise medical examinations for several critically injured individuals.
Including those with multiple fractures and varying degrees of burns.
They closely collaborated with UAE medical professionals to determine the optimal treatment steps.
This close collaboration is part of the ongoing efforts by the UAE Field Hospital in Gaza.
Which has achieved significant milestones in providing medical care to those in need.
Over 17,000 surgeries performed at the Emirati Field Hospital in Gaza
To date, the Emirati Field Hospital has treated over 47,000 patients and performed more than 17,000 surgical procedures.
Highlighting the pivotal role of the UAE in delivering humanitarian and medical assistance to the Palestinian people.
The partnership between the UAE and Indonesia aims to enhance these efforts.
And also to expand the availability of medical services for the injured, wounded, and patients in Gaza.
Other Emirati Humanitarian Initiatives
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been actively engaged in various humanitarian initiatives, both regionally and globally.
Let me talk about some of these impactful efforts:
Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), established in 2015, combines over 30 humanitarian and developmental initiatives and entities.
MBRGI focuses on supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged communities worldwide.
Its initiatives cover diverse sectors, including education, healthcare and human development.
In addition to talent investment, and women and youth empowerment.
Moreover, the UAE responds swiftly to global emergencies, providing aid during natural disasters, conflicts, and humanitarian crises.
The UAE’s Field Hospitals have been deployed to various regions, offering medical assistance and relief to affected communities.

Beyond emergency response, the UAE invests in sustainable development projects.
These projects aim to improve education, healthcare, infrastructure, and economic opportunities in partner countries.
Besides the UAE’s global initiatives, welcoming international teams, such as the Indonesian medical team exemplifies the UAE’s commitment to global health and humanitarian assistance.
