The Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi received the Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister of the United Arabs Emirates and his accompanying delegation as part of UAE’s official visit to the country.
The Foreign Minister of UAE, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed conveyed the greeting on behalf of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to Mr. Modi who in turn wished the country in the Middle East further progress and prosperity.
During the meeting both the nations discussed the different bilateral ties between India and the United Arabs Emirates and emphasized on the means of boosting the relations in different sectors in order to realize the goals and aspirations of both the nations. They also discussed the different international and regional developments and also exchanged ideas about the common issues of concern.
Sheikh Abdullah emphasized that there was a continuous desire for strengthening the ties between the two nation’s even further saying that the tie was important for the benefit of the people and the two nations. Mr. Modi expressed hopes of the visit to produce fruitful opportunities to strengthen the relations between India and UAE. In the meeting the UAE Ambassador to India, Dr. Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Banna was also present.
