UAE to Host a Wide Range of Global Events and Activities in April 2024:
The United Arab Emirates will host a diverse array of global events and activities in April 2024.
Which is further solidifying its position as a leading international hub for business, tourism, and innovation.
The UAE will witness a series of economic, health, scientific, sports, and cultural events in April with extensive international participation.
Humanitarian Work:
- Abu Dhabi to host the Asian Venture Philanthropy Network (AVPN) Global Conference 2024 from April 23-25.
- The conference aims to discuss humanitarian work and its various dimensions in societies.
- Held for the first time in the West Asia region.
International Translation Conference:
- The National Archives and the National Library will host the 4th International Translation Conference on April 17-18 in Abu Dhabi.
- Held under the theme “Towards New Horizons: Translation and Building Knowledge Societies”.
- The conference will discuss over 35 research papers with the participation of a distinguished group of specialists and experts from around the world.
Future Energy:
- The World Future Energy Summit 2024 will take place in Abu Dhabi from April 16-18 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
- The summit is going to attract around 400 exhibitors, over 30,000 visitors, and more than 350 speakers.
- It will cover topics such as solar energy, environmental waste, water, clean energy, climate, environment, and smart cities.
Abu Dhabi International Book Fair:
- Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center will organize the 33rd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2024.
- From April 29 to May 5, 2024, at the ADNEC Abu Dhabi.
- The center has chosen the Egyptian novelist Naguib Mahfouz to be the “central figure” of this edition, and the Arab Republic of Egypt as the guest of honor.

- Location: Museum of the Future in Dubai on April 17.
- Will attract more than 5,000 researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, startup teams, and technology enthusiasts.

- Dubai will host the inaugural “Festival of the Future” in the Middle East on April 24-25 at Expo City Dubai under the theme “The Year AI Changes Your Life.”
- The festival will feature the participation of prominent innovators and creative minds from around the world.
Middle East Energy:
- The Middle East Energy Exhibition will feature the participation of more than 250 speakers in its 49th edition.
- To be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from April 16-18.
- It focuses on accelerating the global transition towards adopting renewable energy and exploring opportunities to achieve sustainability and carbon neutrality.
Athletics:
- Dubai will host the Asian Athletics Under-20 Championships with the participation of 1,200 players from 37 countries from April 24-27.
- The program of the championship includes 44 competitions, 22 for men and 22 for women.
- The qualifiers will be held on the first and second days, followed by the finals.
