Zayed Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works has launched an ambitious plan to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) solutions into its current and future projects.
This initiative aims to enhance the foundation’s core objectives, including:
- Sustainability in charitable and humanitarian work
- Operational efficiency
- Improved beneficiary experiences—both locally and internationally
As part of this initiative, Zayed Humanitarian Foundation has signed a collaboration agreement with Aleria Technologies for AI solutions to develop AI applications with a positive impact on projects related to sustainable giving and global development goals.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by:
- Dr. Mohammed Atiq Al Falahi, Director-General of Zayed Foundation
- Éric Leandri, CEO of Aleria Technologies

Leveraging AI for Humanitarian Challenges
This collaboration aims to harness AI power in addressing the challenges of humanitarian work, with a special focus on field operations, and it includes:
- Automating administrative processes to enhance efficiency.
- Identifying high-priority geographic areas most in need of assistance.
- Reducing emergency response times and delivering rapid relief to disaster-affected regions worldwide.
The foundation is currently making significant efforts to incorporate AI advancements into its humanitarian objectives.
This by return supports sustainable development goals (SDGs).
Zayed Foundation efforts include partnerships with specialized technology firms.
As well as training human resources to acquire the necessary skills to work with emerging AI technologies—ensuring a more effective response to administrative and on-ground challenges.

AI Role in Transforming Humanitarian Efforts
Zayed Foundation emphasized that AI technologies will have a significant impact on improving quality of life for individuals and communities in need.
AI will achieve the following:
- Enhance the efficiency of humanitarian and charitable initiatives
- Expand aid accessibility
- Automate administrative and logistical tasks
Those achievements will ultimately save time and resources, allowing personnel to focus on delivering aid more effectively and accurately.
