18% Increase in Gulf Visitors to Dubai in January 2024
Dubai witnessed a significant increase in the number of Gulf visitors during January, with a rise of 18% to reach 311,000 tourists.
This is according to official statistics released by Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism.
Saudi Arabia secured the top spot for the number of visitors arriving in Dubai from GCC countries.
It accounted for over 50% of the total Gulf visitors, Oman followed in second place for visitor numbers.

The Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai is intensifying its efforts to attract more Gulf visitors.
This is achieved through launching promotional campaigns.
In addition to signing agreements and business partnerships with leading media outlets in the GCC in order to:
