Groundwater Well was instituted in the Chadian city of Amdjarass by the Emirati humanitarian team.
The Emirati humanitarian team launched the final operation of the second groundwater well.
As part of its humanitarian project to drill a number of groundwater wells.
In order to provide drinking water for the residents of the villages and towns affiliated with the city.
Mentioning that the team’s efforts aim at improving the living conditions of the people of the region.
Members of Emirati Organizations attended the launching of the well in Amdjarass.
The launching event attendees included members from Emirates Red Crescent.
In addition to members from Zayed bin Sultan and Khalifa bin Zayed Foundations.
This came after the completion of all drilling and equipment operations.
As well as providing the well with pumps and an electric generator.
Amid great joy from the people who gathered at the opening site to celebrate this occasion.
The well is 180 meters deep and it pumps more than 200 liters of drinking water per hour.
Which will help in providing drinking water for the residents of four villages in Kogo area.

The residents have suffered severely from the lack of drinking water.
Now they won’t worry anymore about getting clean water.
Mentioning that there will be a positive health impact of the well on their lives.
The residents expressed their thanks and appreciation to the UAE and its wise leadership in general.
And to the Emirati humanitarian team in Chad in particular.
Due to their efforts in helping the residents of the region and meeting their essential living needs.
The Emirati humanitarian team will move to another location in the coming days.
In order to drill more wells in cooperation with the municipality of Amdjarass.
It is worth noting that during this month the team had launched the first water well in Amdjarass.
Which has the capacity of 50 gallons of water per hour.
