This is in line with the guidelines of the GoSafe certification program recently launched by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, and approved by the Abu Dhabi government, in line with the determined efforts of the capital to ensure the health and safety of all residents and visitors. It also coincides with the launch of the “Discover Abu Dhabi” campaign, which aims to enhance domestic tourism through a variety of accommodation and tourism offers.
Employees of tourism facilities in Abu Dhabi are subject to regular Corona tests.

Periodic checks for employees of tourism establishments in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi Tourism has allocated field inspection teams to ensure their local partners adhere to the highest health and safety standards according to the GoSafe certification program, as these teams worked to verify the extent to which these establishments adhere to the standards by conducting more than 700 field auditing campaigns on 165 hotels and 450 restaurants in a month.

The department has also developed a checklist of about 107 additional standards in line with the directives of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi according to the GoSafe certification program.
