Google Cloud Next 2025 Unveils New Achievements in AI and Tech
This year’s summit was held in Las Vegas, USA.
It brought together industry leaders, developers, partners, and clients to discuss the future of cloud and AI technologies.
The event saw the unveiling of Gemini 2.5 Pro, a model with advanced analytical and inferential capabilities.
Tools like Gemini Code Assist and Google AI Studio were also introduced to support developers.
Alongside sessions, workshops, and innovative showcases that explored AI’s impact in healthcare and commerce.
UAE Launches A Cybersecurity Excellence Center in Google Cloud Next 2025
In collaboration with Google, UAE Cybersecurity Council launched a Global Cybersecurity Excellence Center in Abu Dhabi.
This initiative reflects the UAE’s commitment to digital transformation and innovation.
In alignment with UAE Vision 2031.
H.E Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity for the UAE Government, delivered the country’s keynote address at the summit.
He emphasized the UAE’s ambition to achieve global leadership in digital fields, cybersecurity, and AI.
Highlighting the continuous efforts to adopt innovations in these areas, with strong backing from the country’s leadership.

17 International Partners
Dr. Al Kuwaiti noted that the council has over 17 international partners.
Several key initiatives have been launched with those partners, including:
- Falcon LLM, developed by the Technology Innovation Institute (TII) in Abu Dhabi
- Cyber Pulse Initiative, aimed at combating cyber threats and enhancing digital security across the UAE.
The launch of the cybersecurity center is a major step in the UAE’s ongoing journey toward digital transformation and cybersecurity enhancement.
It aligns with the leadership’s strategic vision of positioning the UAE as a global center of excellence in cybersecurity.
Google Academy – Middle East
As part of this initiative, Google’s first academy in the Middle East will open in Abu Dhabi.
The academy will provide certified training programs in Google’s cybersecurity courses.
Including Train-the-Trainer (TOT) sessions, helping to build a cadre of qualified trainers both locally and internationally.
It will also train employees in advanced Google digital technologies.
The Cybersecurity Center of Excellence also aims to proactively bring Google’s cutting-edge products, services, and companies to the UAE. In order to enhance digital infrastructure and boost innovation.
Over 25 products are currently being developed in collaboration with Google.
The initiative will support business incubators and accelerators to attract startups.

Google Regional Office
The opening of Google’s regional office in Abu Dhabi is expected to yield tangible economic benefits.
This will positively impact the UAE’s economy across various sectors.
It will also support startups by giving them the access to tailored Google Cloud services.
The center is expected to deliver significant economic and social benefits to the UAE.
It will help in:
- Mitigating the risks of cyberattacks
- Supporting the growth of the tech sector
- Attracting foreign investments
- Creating over 20,300 specialized cybersecurity jobs
