Golf DP World Tour Championship Schedule Adjustments Due to Weather Conditions
DP World Tour Communications Center issued an official statement in the past few hours.
Including some schedule changes for the start of the tournament.
Due to the weather conditions that the country witnessed today, Friday.
It was decided to divide the second round of the Golf DP World Tour Championship into two rounds, starting from 11:00 to 12:48.
As for the G4D Tour season finals in the Golf DP World Tour Championship.
The first round starts at 10:15 and consists of 9 holes, and the first tee-off will be from the tenth hole.
Here are the new tournament times:
- The first bus leaves Hilton Garden Inn at 7:00 AM
- The media center is open from 9:00 AM
- Breakfast is available from 9:00 AM

Future of Golf in the UAE
A wide-ranging discussion session, held earlier at Jumeirah Golf Estates Club to discuss the future of golf in the UAE.
With anticipation for the hosting of 8 international tournaments in the region during 2024.
Including 7 tournaments in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Ras Al Khaimah.
The attendants of the session are:
-Saeed Hareb, Secretary-General of the Dubai Sports Council.
-Major General Pilot Abdullah Al Hashemi.
-Vice President of the Golf Association.
-Abdullah Al Hashemi, Managing Director of Operations – Communities and Free Zones, DP World.
In fact, the participants in the session emphasized the importance of golf in the UAE.
As well as the need to continue to develop and support its journey.
In order to enhance the country’s position as a global destination for golf.
DP World Tour Championship
The final competition of the Tour is held under the slogan “The Race to Dubai”.
Moreover, it includes the top 50 players during the current season from the most prominent stars of the game in the world.
The tournament will witness strong competition between the players.
As each of them seeks to win the title and obtain the title of “Player of the Year” on the DP World Tour.
Spaniard Jon Rahm is the current champion of the tournament, having won it last year.
