DP World is participating in the 13th WTO Ministerial Conference, where it will launch the “Global Logistics Passport” initiative.
This initiative aims to provide solutions for traders to transport goods between different countries of the world.
The WTO conference will reshape the future of global trade.
With attendees from heads of state, more than 155 ministers, and about 60 deputy ministers.
In addition to dozens of officials, experts and specialists and parliamentary attendance.
While 290 parliamentarians from 29 parliaments around the world will participate in the accompanying events.

His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, explained:
“Over the year 2023, there was a great deal of work in developing an unofficial document.
Which consists of about 50 papers, including many proposals for reforming the World Trade Organization.
Especially in the aspect related to dispute settlement, and to ensure the activation of the appeal mechanism for trade disputes.
We hope that the implementation of what was agreed upon through this document will begin.
It will also be a real start to reforming the organization.
Pointing out that more than 100 ministerial meetings have been held to prepare for the conference.”
“Global Logistics Passport” Serving Global Trade
Juma Al Kait, Assistant Undersecretary for Foreign Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Economy, said:
“Global trade has exceeded 60 trillion dollars.
We can imagine that the organization is the only international entity that regulates the work of this trade and ensures the flow of goods within predictable trade policies.
This is important for all countries.
Without the World Trade Organization, the trading world could be much worse.

Juma Al Kait confirmed the participation of DP World in launching the “Global Logistics Passport” initiative.
